Meet our team
All of our funeral directors have a Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and/or Maine license. They all currently work for a funeral home or worked in one for many years. All of them have extensive experience running both traditional funerals as well as cremations.
Tom LaBerge
Managing Funeral Director
Tom is a seasoned professional in the field of funeral service, having dedicated nearly four decades to supporting families during their most challenging times. His journey began in 1985 when he joined his wife, Debbie's family funeral home, the renowned J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel. Since then, Tom has been an integral part of the funeral service community, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those he has served.
Chris Laurin
Funeral Director
Chris is a native of Lowell, MA and a third-generation Licensed Funeral Director from a well-known funeral directing family. Chris comes with over 30 years’ experience in the funeral industry, beginning in his childhood years growing up in his father’s funeral home.
Kelley Riley
Funeral Assistant
Kelley Riley grew up in a funeral family, through which she acquired an understanding of the importance of compassion around grief at a young age. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a business degree in 2009, and went on to attend the Hallmark Institute of Photography, graduating in 2010. In 2011, Kelley ran an orphanage for a non-profit organization in Malawi, Africa.
