At Northeast Cremation Service, we pride ourselves in our clear and transparent pricing with no hidden fees. This allows families to select the right services for them. 

Pre-need: $1,195
At-need: $1,495

Basic Cremation Package

Our Basic Cremation Package focuses on minimizing costs while providing everything needed for a proper cremation.

Package includes:


  • Basic services of Funeral Director and Staff and Overhead
  • Transfer of deceased from the place of death within 150 miles of our operating locations
  • Crematory Fee
  • State Medical Examiner Fee and Burial Permit Fee
  • Basic cremation container
  • Basic cremation urn
  • Filing of death certificate (certified copies not included)
  • Cremation process
  • Free posting of obituary written by the family on our website

Merchandise available for purchase

Package includes everything in our Basic package plus:


  • Funeral home's assistance over-the-phone with navigating the online arrangement process and filling out forms
  • Filing of VA paperwork for burial reimbursement and United States flag
  • VA cemetery marker
  • Arrange military honors


Premium/Veterans Package

Pre-need: $1,795
At-need: $1,795

Our Premium Cremation Package is for families who want a higher level of service while still paying a reasonable price.

Additional Service Options:

Placement of pre-written obituary on our website - Free (we encourage our families to give us obituaries to put on the website)

Funeral director writing the obituary and placing it on our website or newspaper (does not include newspaper charge) - $295

350 pounds or over cremation - $595

Filling urns and keepsakes (up to 5 containers) - $95


Additional container if purchased from a third party - $25 per 1

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. In order to keep costs low, payments must be made before we can transfer the deceased into our care.

As a dedicated cremation service, our goal is to ensure low cost, professional, and expedient cremations. Traditional funeral homes offer more services and guidance, but often charge a higher price. Here is a simple chart which shows a summary comparison of our offerings vs traditional funeral homes. If you see something you'd like, but we don't offer, call us and we'd be happy to refer you to our affiliate funeral homes who can help.
