In June of 2020, during the depths of the COVID crisis, a group of funeral homes banded together with the goal of creating a better cremation service. Due to gathering restrictions, these funeral directors could not provide the end-of-life ceremonies that formed the basis of their calling. Instead, they felt the best way to serve families was to provide cremations with the same caring and attention to detail as their traditional funeral and memorial services. And so Northeast Cremation Service was founded.
Today, hundreds of families across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts have already trusted us with the care of their loved one. Many more have preplanned their future cremations. We're grateful for the support we've received so far and look forward to continuing to provide professional service at low prices.
Our Mission
We believe that just because a cremation is affordable does not mean it has to be inferior. To that end, we provide professional and compassionate service customary of traditional family-owned funeral homes at a price point that is the same or better than other discount cremation providers.
Our Staff
All of our funeral directors have a Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and/or Maine license. They all currently work for a funeral home or worked in one for many years. All of them have extensive experience running both traditional funerals as well as cremations.
